This That & The Other Records was founded in West Sussex in 2005 by Lee Venton and specialises predominantly in mobile and location recording services for those artists seeking a good quality professional recording, but cannot afford the rates of larger more commercial studios.
This service also includes a chance for new or experienced musicians to get the exposure they need by providing them with their own artist page on this website, which will include photographs, music clips, mini-biographies and where to order CDs.
The label has had a very successful launch night in July 2005 entitled After Aid at the Providence in Hove and we raised over £100 for the Band Aid Trust while having five artist’s play live.
A second gig at the Polar Central in November 2005 was equally successful.
Since then, the label has thrown events at other top Brighton venues, such as The Engine Rooms, with more live events being an ongoing plan.
Artists that require the services of This That & The Other Records will have services made to tailor the needs of that individual or the project in question, therefore everything will be clearly set out and fair.
As much time will be taken on your projects as is needed to make it well presented and every effort will be made to help you further your musical creativity.
We are always on the lookout for DJ's, live bands/Artists and sound engineers for our shows in Brighton and the surrounding area.
